The Month of Love..

Hello, dearest friends!

Well, here it is.. another month goes by.  It is the month of Valentine's Day, the month of love.  Right now, I pretty much love everything! ;)

I love God, Who continually shines His favor down upon me and fills me with immeasurable joy and peace.  I praise Him at all times, from morning to night. :D

I love my job.  God has blessed me with a career where I feel that I truly am part of something bigger than myself, and I am caught up in the magic of it all.  I am additionally blessed, because I have been chosen to open the brand new parade at Magic Kingdom.  It opens on March 9th, and media day is on the 10th.  Guess who was chosen to open on media day? :D  I have an overnight rehearsal tonight, followed by one more overnight rehearsal next week for everyone's approvals, and then days later, I'll be performing it live!  So excited! Also, I auditioned once again for Star Wars Weekends, and the audition went incredibly well.  Now I just have to wait to see if I get the wonderful call letting me know I have been chosen to participate in this year's events.  :D

I love my family.  My mom and "second mom" (I babysat her three boys all during high school, and I was pretty much the daughter she never had) came to visit for a little less than a week, and it was absolutely wonderful.  I feel so incredibly blessed to have both of these godly, amazing women in my life! :D

I love my church, God's House Orlando.  This past month, Joe and I were exclusively invited to join a small leadership group wherein the pastors, Sammy and Shannon, encouraged us to become leaders in the church.  I would love to lead a small study group at my house; I only await the "green light" to do so. :)  Plus, both Sammy and Shannon have agreed to be our officiants in the wedding!  I can't wait!  We should be starting premarital counseling in a few weeks. :)

Lastly, I love Joe!  We celebrated his 25th birthday this month.  We went to the shooting range, where I shot a pistol for the first time in my life, and I am proud to say that I hit the red target on my first try, and, after we had changed out targets, my last shot hit the "attacker" square in the forehead; that piece of paper stood no chance against me! ;)   After that, I made him a meal of roasted chicken and vegetables, with a cupcake and ice cream for dessert. :)  Overall, successful birthday! :)

Tagging on to my love of Joe, I love the wedding planning!  It is going quite smoothly, and I am so blessed with all the support from Joe, my family, bridesmaids, and friends. :)  I just have to stamp and seal the invitations, and away they'll go!  We will be ordering our wedding bands within the week, and I am finalizing the storybook programs.. soon. ;)  The favors have all been ordered, as have the bridesmaids gifts.  The flowers, menu, and order of ceremony have all been finalized, and this next month should be full of crafting centerpieces, gifts, and having my bridal shower! :D
