Honeysuckle Days

Hello, my friends!

This past month has been full of what I call "honeysuckle days," for they are fragrant and sweet, blossoming with the hope of spring and the promise of summer. :)

My garden is growing and thriving; the sod has taken root, the jasmine is already blooming, and the basil and mint are flourishing. :)  It is wonderful to simply sit in my lounge chair, eating a late breakfast, reading a good book, gazing at the clouds floating by, smelling the jasmine on a small zephyr, and watching the cardinals, doves, and red-winged blackbirds at the feeder.  Bliss! :)

Outside of work, life is good.  Joe and I were able to go to the Celebration Car Show, where we saw  many exotic cars that were oh-so-pretty and oh-so-expensive. :P  We mostly went to see the Deloreans and hang out with Joe's Delorean friends though, which was awesome. :)  I am now officially welcomed into the Delorean family. :)  One day, the goal is for Joe and I to own a Delorean.. one day! :D  Also, just recently, we went to the Celebration Pie Festival, and I had more slices of pie than I care to admit, but it was so much fun just to enjoy the weather, run into friends, and eat pie! :D  The Pie Fest was only days after our 15 month anniversary of being together, so it was a "sweet" way to celebrate! :D

In "I love Jesus" news, I celebrated Easter at work with my fellow Dream Along cast members, and it was super neat to bring my Israel scrapbook to work and share the pages where I was in the Empty Tomb.  I hadn't realized how many people in the cast would take such an interest, and I realized God was able to use it as a witnessing tool.  To Him be the glory!  :)  Praise to Him too, because even though I found out that I do not get Sundays off for the summer casting, my pastor messaged me, saying that the church is starting a Monday night service for entertainment members who work on the weekends. :D  I can start going to church again!  Yay!!!!

In work news, life is so good.  My summer casting, which goes into effect in June, is: Monday/Tuesdays off, Wednesday/Thursdays at the Dream Along with Mickey show, and Friday/Saturday/Sundays at the Move It Shake It Celebrate It Street Party and Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, all at Magic Kingdom. :D  Especially since I get to go to church on Mondays, I am as happy as can be! :)  I am so blessed to be a part of the Dream Along cast; the dancers, costumers, techs, managers, and fellow performers all provide friendship and genuine happiness to my life!  I am incredibly grateful to Abba for blessing me with this dream job.  :D

Also, I am once again blessed to be a part of the Star Wars Weekends family this year! :)  I was selected to help out the Jawas again this year, and we've already had our orientation.  I think I love the day of orientation best of all, because it is one massive SWW family reunion, since I see some of these friends only once a year, for SWW. :)  My next rehearsal is not until next week, but I'm excited!  This year should be awesome! :D

So yes, life is good.  It is fragrant and sweet, full of blossoming relationships, a deepening relationship with my incredibly amazing boyfriend Joe, and the life-defining relationship with my Abba. :D
