Yikes! Where did this month go??? I have half an hour more if I'm to write in November at all! :P
So what all has been happening? Well, goodness, so many blessings, that's for sure, and just in time for the holiday season! Work has indeed been crazy due to the holiday rush that won't really let up until 2010 rolls around (2010 already? I remember stocking up with Jello pudding mixes and water bottles for Y2K!) I've been working 50 hour weeks in parades and shows, mostly Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade and the Christmas Parade, with some Move It Shake It Celebrate It Street Party and Fantasmic thrown in for good measure every once in awhile. :D I also have a burgeoning social life (gasp!) which throws in even more delightful craziness to my life.
As to the holidays, Halloween honestly seemed rather uneventful, seeing as I was in the Halloween Parade like I had been ever since rehearsals in early September. :P The audience was particularly vivacious for the occasion though, so that was fun. Thanksgiving was fantastic; I celebrated four times! :P The first time was when my roommate Ayanna's parents came to visit in early November, and they made a Thanksgiving feast for us all, which was super sweet of them. Then, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, all three of us roommates were off, so we had an impromtu Thanksgiving feast. On Thanksgiving itself, I had a Thanksgiving meal after Day Parade with part of my parade family (Disney provided turkey and ham and we provided the side dishes), and after that, I went to eat more food and play games at my friend's place!
This Thanksgiving, I am particularly thankful for all my friends down here that I have come to know and love like family. I miss my friends and family back home, but I know that they have their own families too, and I am grateful for the "family" I have created down here. :D I'm also grateful for this year in how God has blessed me in so many ways. Learning CDCT, MISICI, Spectromagic, Star Wars Weekends, Halloween Parade, and Christmas Parade, not to mention the numerous filming opportunities handed to me on a silver platter.. I'm so thankful for His purpose for my life! I truly feel that I am where I am supposed to be, and I continue to wish that feeling for all of you.
Christmas hasn't technically happened yet, but I've been in the Christmas spirit ever since the first Christmas Party in early November. :P It's *finally* cold here (mid-70s.. when did I start to think like a Floridian?) and there's Christmas music every where I turn. :D I do not have any specific plans as of yet as to how I will celebrate Christmas since I will be working every day for the last two weeks of December due to high volumes in the parks, but hey, there's always January, right? :P My birthday also happens to be December 18th, so I might try to watch Whoopi Goldberg perform in the Candlelight Processional in Epcot that day. :D Regardless, Christmas will always be in my heart, and the true Reason for the season will be with me during the craziness of the holidays!
Hope your holidays are merry and bright, and if they are crazy like mine, may they be just as fun! :D I love you all!
