Alright, so there aren't any mountains in Florida, but just this past week, there were two Hills (small mountains, if you will), named Terri and Megan, and three Fujiis (famous mountains, if you will), named Dave, Lorraine, and Keiko, and they all met at Walt Disney World.
Many of the highlights of the trip for me were the Character meet 'n' greets, specifically after the Castle Show, when we met Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, the Snow Prince, Aurora, Prince Phillip, Peter Pan, and Wendy. After parade, everyone was able to meet Piglet, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore one day and Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Prince Ali another day. The Characters loved on everyone and proved once again that this is both the happiest place on earth to visit and of which to be a part.
Aside from the specific highlights, it was such a joy simply to spend time with family and friends, enjoying the gorgeous fall weather and the uncrowded parks. My mom and I discovered the joys of pin-trading, and I developed an amazing friendship with Keiko, whom I now regard as a little sister. ;) How fortunate I feel to be able to play hostess for such a wonderful trip!
Now that Florida is mountainless once again (well, except for a token Hill), I am left to write in this blog and get caught up on emails. The craziness of the holidays has yet to hit Disney World, so I am choosing to just soak up the sunshine and relax during the calm before the storm.
